Unhappy posting photos - 06-29-2009, 11:04 AM


i am sorry to bring this up again but i have read everything i can find on this site about posting photos, but i cannot post a photo no matter what i have tried over a few years. i get a new message about scripting but allow this and do it again

see landscape post Jemez Falls for my last attempt.

Ronnie.
Go to the photo, right click on it. You will get a box. Copy that location. Now go to the thread you want it in and click on the little postcard with mountains, above where you are typing the message. Now drop the address in there that should do it. I did your waterfall. If it does not show you may not have gotten the right link OR you did not copy all of it.

when i go to the photo in gallerys and right click on it, i get a box with a long list of things to do, not a location or anything like that. (things like copy, properties, add to evernote, convert to adobe pdf, show exif etc)
i use pc's

Sorry Ronnie.
Right click on photo, then you get the box with all that stuff you mentioned. At the bottom of that box is properties click on that THEN you get this box.
Now follow my directions above!

thank you very much. i was getting the address from the top of the explorer screen assuming that was the http address. i now see that the properties http address is not the same as what shows in exporer. however fyi, my properties box does not look anything like the one in your example (ie ver 8)

I have been a ember since august. and i still have no isea as to how to post a photo. when i upload, i get a fike failed message. i tried doing what you described above, and still can not do it.
is there another way.
