Image Display Issue - 02-22-2005, 09:50 AM

Hey All,

I've posted a few pics ... here's the issue ...

I post the pics they work. I come back a bit later, and all the links are broken. I repost, they work, come back later they are broken.

I am using nikonnet as my host

Anyone know what's going on?

Not sure, but the main thing to look at is whether or not that site allows linking from other sites. If it doesn't, it'll work for you as the photos are likely in your local cache for a while - but when it gets flushed, they're gone.

i would suggest looking into smugmug.com or something like that. its only like $30 a year and you get unlimited storage and pretty damn near unlimited bandwidth.

i can help you get $5 off that as well (and if a broke photographer/college student can afford it you can too)...let me know and in the meantime check mine out.

Todd,

Like your gallery. Lot of cool and interesting stuff. I am actually using imagestation for now. A friend and I are in the process of putting a web server together, then I will have all the space i want <evil laughter> .... but if that fails, I'll look into smugmug.
