So how do you leave feedback for someone whom you sold something to, but didn't actually have a thread for it? In this case, we conversed on another thread posted by someone else, and ended up striking a deal. I'd like to leave him feedback, but it keeps telling me that the thread is invalid. Is that because it was in the marketplace and not the BST area, or is it because I wasn't the thread author? You don't. The seller should start a thread giving the usual info (proper title indicating SOLD:, what's for sale, asking price) and saying the thread is entered for feedback purposes, and the buyer should post a follow-up.
