Arrow Google and Vibrant Ads added to TPF. - 07-18-2010, 06:23 PM

In order to help offset the monthly operating costs of TexasPhotoForum out of my own pocket I have decided to bite the bullet and add Google and Vibrant ads to our general membership here on TPF EXCEPT for Premium Members.

If you would like to help support our site and help keep us up and running smoothly you can sign up to become a Premium Member by clicking HERE.

Signing up will instantly turn off the Google and Vibrant advertisements for you.

I know there may be some members that have a problem with me taking this step in helping fund the forum but all I can say is that running a site of this size costs money. Monthly server bills that equate to a second car note not to mention additional software & licensing costs. It does add up and it does add up quickly.

This is what the ads look like.

The Vibrant Media ads are pop up advertisements that will display when you hoover over specific links/key words.

The Google Ad will display after the first post of every thread and in the footer of the website near the bottom of the page.

I have no problem with the decision.. was surprised when I saw the ad before I saw this thread, though. LOL

Do what you gotta do to make ends meet. Makes no sense for you to try to run this thing out of your own pocket.
