Random Photo - Portal Question???

how do you get images to be put into the random photo....I keep seeing the same two over and over.

however I only have one or two in my gallery anyway

the images on the portal page are my control... i believe i have 4 images in the queue now..

im in the process of contacting various people here on the forum asking for permission to place one of their images on the random photo list as well...

i plan to have about 20+ in there that will cycle through randomly etc.

Abel, The photo that has been up on the portal the last couple of days and is up right now (5:30am, 1/14) is awesome! It's a downtown street scene viewed at night from above street level. Who took that photo? I'd like to know more info - How and where was it taken? What lens, etc.

When you have some time, maybe you can look into if it would be possible to credit the photographer when posting the random photos??

If it is then Here Is More Info On It.


I would like more info on the random photos also, I think I know who the photog is for all the ones I've seen so far, but it would be nice to have it displayed with the picture.

i do plan to credit the photogs... all of them.

just when i posted that one i was at work during my lunch hour and i dont have PS there... so i mentioned to Steven (the photog) ill get everyones names up ASAP.

TheJakestir, Yep, that's the one. And the story is as good as the photo. Hanging camera off of a building? Wow. Thanks much for info.

A suggestion: Why not use the winners of each of the categories for the POY contest, and the final POY winner ? I think we all submitted for fun anyway, and we all know there are some great photo's in that contest !
