Question re: Moderators

Who are the Moderators for TPF? What exactly does a Moderator do?

I have no complaints at all -- very satisfied, in fact; just wondering out of technical curiosity what's going on "behind the scenes" so to speak.

sheldon
jim victory
sbug_adam
swanny

our main goal its just to make sure things work smooth... move posts in case their in the wrong spot and things of that nature... if any verbal arguments started then one of us would step in to try to dissolve it etc..

the forum has grown alot recently and it helps me to have these 5 guys to rely on...


also if theres something we miss, by all means contact one of us and let us know...

we want this forum to be a great place for all levels of photographers to come, visit and learn...

On a serious note I truely enjoy this forum, I am a member of many but this one stand out in many areas over the others. I just want to thank Abel for allowing me to be a part of it (The official suck up line )

I agree, I've given up to some extent on DPReview (if it's not "L" glass, it's not worthy.) I go to FredMiranda to look at other's work (need an assistant? :) ) Aside from that, I get the most out of this one.

Yeah :) I am horrible at spelling I found out in the last stages of my degrees I have dyslexia, which was cool to figure out since I have never been able to spell or write, it has at least eased my confusion on the subject. If I did not have Word Spell Checker and Grammer Check I would have never been able pass a college class much less get my degrees. :lol:
