Sorry, don't mean to laugh at you. But I assume you will be getting an e-mail about this.

No, seriously. In each thread, there is a pulldown menu at the top. One of them says "Thread Options" You can pull that down, and either subscribe to a thread you have not posted in, or unsubscribe from a thread that you HAVE posted in.

Also, you can go into your "User CP" for your Control Panel. On the left, click on "Edit Options" On that page, there is a panel that says "Default Thread Subscription Mode". I assume yours is set to "Instant email notification", and didn't change when you tried to set it to no e-mail.
You can pull down that menu and select a couple of choices.
If no e-mail doesn't work, how about the once a day option?

Did you click on the "Save Changes" button on the bottom of the page after scrolling all the way down?

So then why are you complaining about getting pages on your Blackberry for every reply?

As stated before, you can edit your email notification settings via your User CP. More specifically by visiting the edit options are of your User CP.

You will want to change your "Default Thread Subscription Mode" to a setting you are comfortable with. If you do not want to receive any emails at all, you can choose either "Do not subscribe" or "No email notification". If you want to be subscribed to threads you participate in but not receive emails, then you would want to select "No email notification".

Also, if you do not want to receive an email each time you get a Private Message on this site, then you want to change your "Private Messaging" settings and ensure there is not a check in the box next to "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".

When you are done making your setting selections, scroll down the page and click on the "Save Changes" button.

Note: You will still receive email notifications for the threads which you are currently subscribed to. To ensure you do not receive notifications for those subscriptions, you will need to either click on the unsubscribe link in the email when you receive the notification, or go to each thread directly, click on "Thread Tools" and then click on the "Unsubscribe from this thread" link.

For a list of all threads you are currently subscribed to, go to your User CP and click on the "View all Subscribed Threads" link or go directly to http://www.californiaphotoforum.com/...n&folderid=all.

From the "View all Subscribed Threads" page, you can change your notification settings by placing a "check" in the box to the right of each thread subject line and scrolling down and utilizing the pull down menu directly below and to the right side of the page.
