cant upload pics

Greetings Everyone,

I finally got my new Canon Rebel Esos Digital Camera and I wanted to share a photo that I took, but I can't upload the picture as an attachment. When I try uploading it it says that the file failed. Can someone help me? I am new to photography and to this forum.

How large is the file that you are trying to upload?

Check the filesize as stated above. There are limits and that is the message you get if the file is too large. Where you upload will give you the limits.

Ill look into the file size. I thought that it may be to big. ill have to find another way to upload the pic. i dont want to make it smaller because afaid it will reduce the quality.

I often upload to another site and then link to it. If you decide to do this, be sure to avoid sites that compress the photo upon upload (like photobucket). Personally, I use flickr. You can get the HTML code, or use the little landscape icon in the toolbar above to link to it.
