Missing Security Token - 12-31-2011, 12:48 PM

received the following message when I try to upload photographs from my computer. I've not had this problem before, and in fact, I previously succeeded in uploading the two photographs I'm getting the error message on. Apparently, I don't have the proper secuity token. How do I correct this problem?

I think the message is the error. I remember an old thread where files that were too big gave that error.

I tried resizing to 3000 x 2000 (6 mp), but I still was not able to upload. I'm waiting on a site administrator to respond, but they must be off on holiday.

Thanks for your reply.

Larry,

i think 6MB is still way too big. seems to me, the max file size is well below a meg.

Woah! 3000x2000??? Um, that's a bit large. I recommend not posting an image larger than 1024 on the long side. This helps with people with slower or mobile connections.

Okay ... I reduced them to 1024 x 600 and they did load this time. However, I am still getting the error message "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.", even before I attempt to download any attachments. I'm still curious about the error message.

Abel,

It took at 1028. The error message is 1/2 of my problem. I resolved the part about not being able to download. I'm still getting the error message "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing." I received the error message before I try to download. It pops up when the first page loads.
