For instances, I click Canon and the forum filters out all other brands. Now I want to only see Canon and FS (For Sale) items but the moment I click on FS the forum does not narrow down the search. I now see all name brands that are labeled FS. Is there any way to enhance this feature?
you cant add additional filters together... only one at a time... sorry.

I like this because I shoot sony and there is usually very little sony stuff for sale but lots of nikon and canon. I would be fine being lumped into "other"

Here is an example of why the green links are almost perfect.

Linky

The seller listed three brands. So when you click the green link, it filters out all posts that aren't "Sony, tamron, minolta." Which, of course, eliminates everything but that thread. Meanwhile, someone looking for Sony gear would miss it.

thats one of the reasons i tell people to list items separately... more exposure plus easier to search.

...and if its a canon mount tamron lens i mentioned to list it as a "canon" in the make field and give the Tamron name in the title of the thread... makes it much easier to search that way as well.
