what are you using for applying the borders and watermark for your pictures? doing everything by hand or do you have a photoshop action for doing all that?

i actually have a PS action for it... i now make my images all 600x400 so what i did was start recording a new action, increased the canvas size by 1 pixel all around with a blk background, then increased the canvas size again by 10 pixels all around with a white background, then increased it yet again by 1 pixel all around with the black back ground. now that i have the borders done , then i add both pieces of text, site name and my name. then i stop recording and viola. its done

i also made one for vertical 400x600 images

i just get the image to 600x400 and press PLAY and it does all of that stuff automatically. the trick is that the image size has to be the same size everytime etc etc...

yeah perfect sense, i was messing around with select >modify > border.

im just looking for a pixel font that is readable.

when u get a pixelfont (i use uni 05_53) make sure u turn the anti alias setting to NONE

it took me a little while to figure that part out...
