I am pleased to announce that we have officially kicked off our Profile Page Contest exclusively for our TexasPhotoForum.com members. As you will soon see, the custom Profile Pages we have available here on TPF are above and beyond what other forums have to offer. In order to help spread the word and get more participation from our members in regards to using and editing their pages we've decided to focus a contest on the subject... Clever huh? Ok maybe not real "Clever" but hey! It will do the trick!

Simply Canvas has graciously offered up a $300 Gift Certificate to be used on any of their products and/or services to be given to the random winner of this contest. Simply Canvas specializes in high-quality canvas prints ranging in sizes from 6"x6" to 40"x100" so I am sure you can make use of this great prize.

How do you enter this contest you ask?

It's Simple.

Step 1:
Fill out as much of your Profile Page as thoroughly as possible by using the:
EDIT PROFILE PAGE
EDIT PROFILE PICTURE PAGE
EDIT AVATAR PAGE
EDIT SIGNATURE PAGE

Items you NEED to have entered:

Profile Image
Avatar
Background info in the About Me section
Photo Gear listing
Favorite Aspect of Photography
Myspace.com profile link *
ModelMayhem.com profile link *
One ModelPlace.com profile link *
SportsShooter.com profile link *
Flickr.com profile link *
AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ & Hello IM Links *
Gallery Images**

*If you don't have these items to enter in then simply leave them out. That is ok.

**You can upload photos to our Gallery and those photos will display in your Profile Page as well.

Step 2:
Submit your username and real name to me using THIS FORM.

Upon completing the two steps listed above your name will then be entered into the Random Drawing. Enteries to the contest will be collected until 11:59pm on February 28, 2007 and one lucky random winner will be selected and announced on March 1, 2007.

You MUST fully complete those two steps listed or else your contest entry will be deleted. Please take the time to fill out your Profile Page as thoroughly as possible and not submit the entry form until you are finished. Once a form is submitted, I will look over the profile page and if it does not meet all of the items listed above then your entry form will be removed from the random drawing.

It would be nice to have more information filled out by the members. The one field that is left blank the most is the "Age"

hee hee yes. If you click on someones name a drop box will come down and if you click view profile, within the profile on the right side of the page is a larger "image"

Does that make sense?

Oh, this might not be the correct topic for this, but I'd like to request a picasaweb field in the profile as well - I think quite a few use their fine site for photo storage and online gallery :)
