Everyone currently has a default blank avatar... If you would like to get a more personalized avatar you can simply upload a custom avatar.

Trying to use a photo from SmugMug for an avatar gives Invalid URL.

I tried it both with they "Tiny" spec from there and with a custom size set to 100x100.

I was able to upload it from local disk, but thought you might want to look into the above issue.

I can't get mine to upload from smugmug either.
