Please turn off my email notifications

Hi I just signed up and I guess I forgot to turn off the option to get email notifications everytime someone replies to my post. I went into my options and changed this, saved the changes and I continue to get emails everytime someone replies to my post.
Can someone please explain how I stop this?

After turning that option off that only affects those posts AFTER you made the changes. It does not apply to those prior to.

I just removed all of your subscriptions from the admin side... which means you prolly wont receive an email confirmation for this response but I guess thats the intent. hehee

Could you please do it for me too? I turned off all the subscriptions and I'm still getting notices on NEW posts. It might be worth your while to make this option a little easier to execute. Thanks!

Adrienne, i just checked your account and it's still set up for instant email notification. you may have toggled it off but maybe forgot to save the settings.

I will edit it for you and also remove all thread subscriptions from the past.

for reference in order to change it manually visit this link:

then make the necessary adjustments to the field marked:
Default Thread Subscription Mode

jonathon, i just did the same for you as well. edited so you are not automatically subscribed and removed previous subscriptions.

please refer to the post above in case you want to edit it yourself later.

I just come back and check the threads I wrote periodically. I don't need email notification to come back, lol
