Arrow New Texas Area Photo Clubs Section - 06-03-2008, 08:19 AM

Hey guys... I just opened up a complete dedicated category here on TPF which will cater to Texas Area Photo Clubs. Certain Photo Clubs and other Photography Organizations are eligible to have a dedicated section so that their officers and members can discuss various items in regards to Club Meetings/Speakers etc.

Texas Area Photo Clubs Section Located Here

These sections will be a great tool for the Clubs as a whole and will also help introduce more people to their club but it will also expose their members to TPF as well so it is mutually beneficial.

If you are a Photo Club Officer and or Photo Club member feel free to contact me for more details in regards to setting up a dedicated section for your club here on TPF.

Thanks

League City Photography Meetup Group - 06-06-2008, 09:42 AM

Abel, I am the organizer for the League City Photography Meetup Group. We meet once a month for supper at Pepper's Restaurant in League City and then try to shoot once or twice per month. I would love to get some space for the club. We have more than seveal TPF members in the club. Thanks for the site and the things you to for photography in general.

Abel -

This is a great idea!

I'm hoping you'll allow the various groups coordinated through meetup.com to utilize this, as they tend to be much more active than the more established clubs I've researched.

Thanks!

Ken

Along the lines of this thread/forum: Is there a directory anywhere of the camera/photography clubs in the state? That would be useful.

We are a loose group of photographers trying to learn from each other - about 60% film and 40% digital - We think it's about the final image not too much about how you get there.

We are getting together this Sunday in McKinney - doing some very informal studio lighiting teaching and looking at an 8X10 view camera. starting at 2

We will be getting together on Sunday June 22nd at 2:00 P.M. at Don and Kiran’s place – Guy and Don will set up some lighting equipment and go through a studio lighting talk – also we will set up the 8X10 view camera and go through it’s operation.
Don and Kiran’s address
204 W Davis St
McKinney TX  75069

feel free to come by

Abel,

Check your private messages. I sent you one about adding the newly formed "DPA" (Digital Photo Alliance) currently looking for digital shooters in the Austin area.

Thanks man,

Rene
