General Garage Sale Style Buy/Sell Section?

I'm still debating in regards to having a dedicated General Buy/Sell Section where anything can be listed other than photography/computer equipment i.e.. refrigerators, desks, TV's, couches etc (other than software for piracy issues). I remember having a bulletin board system back at a previous employer and I remember checking it all of the time because there was always a ton of good stuff on there.

I think it could be a beneficial thing for our members on a community level, just not so much on a photography level. hehee.

I'm not sure, I'm still kicking the idea around.

If anything, we could maybe give it a trial run, say open one up for 30 days and see how it pans out.... if its chaos, then I will have to kill it. If it works well then we can leave it. I'm just typing out loud here....

What are your guys' thoughts on having a General Buy/Sell Section?

I'd say go for it.. but keep it separate from the Photography related one....

I was just kidding the other day "If I'm selling it to finance photography equipment, that qualifies, right?" LOL

they will be separate... it will be a dedicated section strictly for those items so that it does not interfere with the other buy/sell section that is designated for photography/computer related items.

I'd say go for it, but have strict rules of what can be listed.

i agree.. im trying to decide how many posts shouldbe required...any suggestions?
