Easy Customizer - 07-15-2009, 11:19 PM

I FINALLY started customizing my site and all I can say is thank goodness for the Easy Customizer.

I was able to get a fair amount of CSS coding to work, just not well yet, but the EC works great ni the mean time. Is there anyway to view the CSS coding from the EC? Is Firefox my best bet?

*Firefox with the plugin works great! The CSS code is starting to look less confusing.

Yep, you can see all the CSS that you created in the EZ Customizer. You need to first publish your changes and then go back to your SmugMug homepage.

When you are there, choose to "View Source". You will see your own nickname-xxxxxxxx.css the xxxxxx being a date/time stamp (To find it just do a search for user_nickname)

You can copy that url into a new window and see the EZC css code.

You can do that to any page on SmugMug, not just the homepage. :)

I am trying to copy the CSS code formed by the EZC so that I can add the cool descriptions when you move the cursor over the menu like you can with CSS. I'll get it right eventually. haha

*GOT IT! I just had to get the name in the HTML code to match the id tag I was using in the CSS!
