That direct selling of cards is HUGE for me.

Still waiting on the packages, but I'm renewing for another year this month in the hopes that I get it by spring. I'm not holding my breath though.

Hey Markham -- not to beat a dead horse (apparently the subject is dead and not the next priority) but is there any word on when and if package pricing will be coming?

SmugMug can only work on a few projects at once. Coupons and Packages are our top two priorities. We do have a couple other little projects going, but in no way competing for time or resources of Coupons and Packages.

Coupons will most likely be released first and then packages following. There are lots of tricky details on both these features and we just want to make sure they are completely solid before releasing.

NOTE: As for timing we are really hoping before Christmas on coupons and packages Q1 of 2010 but as you all know holidays seem to complicate some timing. Rest assured we feel an extreme amount of pressure on these two features and are working very hard on them.

markham - how do we present the cards to clients that are self fulfillment and actually aren't aware that a smugmug account exists? i do not use smug for client ordering, but rather private ordering after clients, if that makes sense...

It sounds like you need to go and create a card and put it in a gallery for people to look at and order, but turn off the SmugMug shopping cart?

Is that correct?

i actually don't want them to know that anything exists on smugmug at all... at some point i may switch my proofing system over to there, but at the moment, it's all proofed and paid for through my own site - and i order my ORDERS from smug based on what i have there offsite - i hope that makes sense
