Help link broken - 11-03-2009, 10:08 PM

If I'm at my own page ( http://kd5nrh.smugmug.com ) and logged in, the "Help" link just reloads the page. If I'm logged out or logged in but on someone else's front page, it goes to the help section.

It's doing this in IE8 and in Opera 10 under Vista.

Mouse over, it should have the address as showing: http://www.smugmug.com/visitor-help/

I went to yours as well as mine as a guest and the Help links takes me to the above url. Clear your cache, if I'm not mistaken, Opera shares the same cache as IE

EDIT: try firefox

The link showing on mouseover is http://kd5nrh.smugmug.com/

It only happens when I'm logged in and at my front page. As guest, or at anybody else's page, it works properly.

It's doing the same thing in Firefox and Safari.

It is caused by something you put in the Javascript field in your Advanced Customization. You may have something wrong in your Top or Bottom Javascript field.

Actually it looks like you got it from #6 on this page: http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq

I am looking into it.

Just talked to the Devbobo and he says that is intended in the JS hack.

If you are logged in, it will go to your homepage. If you are logged out OR if you click on this link: smugmug.com/help you will go to our help pages.

Thanks,
Markham

Ok. Not a big issue since it's easy enough to work around. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something screwy that got missed during the various updates.
