Hi, I'm from SmugMug. We're working on it. Right now we don't have the full Bay catalog. I'm sorry. But we do expect to offer mounted prints from Bay, in addition to the MetalPrints, Canvas, and ThinWraps we currently offer.

You can get extremely good quality mounted prints from our other lab, EZPrints right now.

The rest of the stuff from Bay is coming later this year, we're working on some very cool new stuff but it'll take us a while. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you right now.

You can always email me ATTN: Andy at our help desk SmugMug Help: How to email a real person who will respond

Does EZPrints still roll any print larger than 8x10? That's the main reason I wouldn't use them.

I am with Brad in the aspect of going that extra step for your client - especially if it is a portrait. I have always used photoreflect primarily for posting proofs and for some sports orders, but when it comes to portrait sessions, where the client has paid a session fee and might want a large print, I want to be able to sit down with them and take the extra time to make them feel like they are #1.
Also, I like to take that time to show them samples of mounting options. I have found many times that the average client has no clue as to the difference of matbord, gatorfoam, canvas, float mounts, etc. Keep in mind it could also mean a larger sale for you. :)

I have been a SM pro use for about 3 years. What I do is have the clients come in for projection viewing and place their first order. Then tell them the images will go on FB and my SM site, so they can send family and friends there to place their own orders. It usually isn't a whole lot, but I get about 10x's what SM costs in sales, I get to have a back up for my pics, and a place where clients can see entire sessions. Now, if and when they they do start offering mounting options, I will still do a projection viewing, but will place their order on SM together so that all my money goes through there.
