It is?? That is lame, they might have just classified us as the same as social networks. Go tell your IT guy to accept us. That sometimes works, although they might get nervous that you will spend too much time there

Yea, I've had a similar problem... not for me, but for customers trying to view my site..... and since many of my pictures are served from smugmug instead of eating up space and bandwidth on my web host.......

Markham

Why does my gallery in the TPF Community look so different from the Gallery in my Smugmug site?

Note: Galleries associated with a community will either be smug default, or community default.

Terry, That is a note from the smugmug communities help section.

Yea, I see that. It messes up the formatting in my main gallery. I had hoped my main site would retain the formatting for all gallery's and change it only foor the one in the community section. As it stands now all my other gallery's look normal just the one posted in community section is different in the community section and my main site.

when you add the gallery to the community, just make sure the "smugmug" option is checked and not the community option and it should retain your original look

It still changes the look completely. If you look at www.terryturner.net you will see all galleries look the same except the first one, the one I added to the community. I tried both the smugmug and community settings, and while it did alter the look between the two neither setting retained my "custom" look. Now I have to choose between keeping that one gallery in the community section and having two looks in my personal site or removing it for uniformity.
