Two questions? - 05-27-2008, 08:42 AM

First, Does anyone else have problems using the slide show feature? All I get is a black screen.
Next, when I try to upload a series of pics from picasa it shows them uploading and then its not in the folder. Is there a limit to the number that can be uploaded at one time? I can get to work if I upload say 12-18 at one time.

Thanks

No idea on the picasa problem, but I know I had the same problem with the slideshow in Internet Explorer, and Markham fixed it for me... seemed I had one too many commas. I copied and pasted it from elsewhere, so you may have copied and pasted from the same place.

What slideshow feature are you talking about? Are you talking about viewing a gallery of photos in the Slideshow style? OR are you talking about a custom slideshow on your homepage?

There is no limit on the Picasa uploader. Have you installed our latest version? You might want to try and install it again just in case. http://www.smugmug.com/help/picasa-smugmug-uploader

Oh ok, the black screen of death. You need to disable Hardware Acceleration: http://www.dgrin.com/showpost.php?p=795785&postcount=86

For flash:

That should fix it.
