slide show slow load

curious if you have any thoughts on this...i updated my home page slide show to the new version, and it's very cool. however, the load seems a bit slow. actually, maybe the problem is actually that while it's loading all you see is the smuggy logo, so some people may not be sure what's going on. my concern there is they don't wait long enough and they go straight to a gallery without stopping to see the show. the wait time isn't horrible and i have no problem with the smuggy logo, but is there a way to indicate slide slow loading progress?

Yeah, we are having a little issue with speed right now. The new slideshow (flash) is way better than our old, so you are good there.
