Time to renew

It is almost time for me to renew my Smugmug subscription, but before I do I wanted to know how far you are from making the upgrades that has been in the works for SO long. I am mainly talking about the changes to the shopping cart that has been promised, expecially coupons and pro lab interfaces.

With a few exceptions, I have been generally happy with Smugmug, but there is room for improvement.

Hey Dan,

I am glad you brought this up. We are right now in step 2 of a 3 step process.

The first step was to completely revamp the shopping cart, which we did already on June 27! http://blogs.smugmug.com/release-not...-june-27-2008/

Next steps are to integrate with a Pro lab and then coupons. Sorry I don't have timing but both are in the works.

Thanks Markham for the reply. To be honest, I was beginning to question whether I should renew my membership or not. This has subject has been basically ignored on dgrin and Andy has been getting a little rude with people asking about it.

I'm not going to hold you to it, but if you were going to give your best estimate what would you guess the time frame would be? Weeks, months, year?

Andy getting rude? I will have to get after him.

It is not easy for me to even give you estimates because things change so often around here and on the internet period. I think suffice it to say we are pushing really really hard for this year.

That's good enough. That's more of an estimate than I have heard from anyone else.
One more question and I probably already know the answer. Will my account automatically renew with my credit card on file or do I have to do anything?

Your account will automatically renew if you do nothing. We are very happy to have you use our service and believe me, we are really really sweating a few of the issues you bring up.
