I saw that option this morning, must be a new feature...looks like you can create a Blurb book from the photos, I looked under pricing on my pro account and didn't see an option to set pricing for the book so maybe it's just a Blurb thing....
I'm sure Markham will chime in with info

correction...it's been there a while, I just noticed it

client will have to download Blurbs software and pay Blurb directly, unless you put a book together on Blurbs' site and upsell yourself using the same images

My phototgraphy teacher had handmade book that his clients wanted so he get fully paid for that making books. It's fun but little alot of work to take up your time.

Yes, people can make blurb books and soon other books BUT only with their own images.

Yes, we do plan on allowing you to make a book and selling it and making the commissions. The timing on this is not until next year sometime hopefully.

If you want to make a book and sell it to your customers on Blurb, you can do so using all your SmugMug images and you will make commissions from Blurb directly.

We are planning on launching partnerships with other book makers this year as well.

So we would just make a book as if we were making a book for ourselves with our images and blurb would charge us $XXX and then we mark it up to what we want...gets shipped to us and we deliver?? That works :)

Actually you just make a book and then post it in the Blurb "bookstore". You mark it up to whatever price you want. You will keep 100% of the markup when anyone buys it from the bookstore.
