Pro feature "catches" client - 11-13-2008, 06:20 PM

Been a Pro member for a while now and hardly have a complaint about smugmug and just wanted to share a funny story.
I shot a small wedding on Oct 31 (shoot and burn) and told the couple that I would upload the images to my gallery for them to view before getting the CD to them. I uploaded the images a week later and sent them the link (just replied to an email she had already sent me so I know I had the correct address)
They called me early this week asking the status of their images
I ask "did you get the email I sent?" they reply, "no, we didn't"
well as a Pro member, I can check the stats of my galleries to see if they were viewed. Her gallery is hidden and only viewable through the link in the email and guess what? someone has been looking at the images! several times!
I haven't said anything to them, but thought it was funny that they tried to "cover"

I'll have to keep that in mind. I just shot my first paying gig today and am in the process of editing the files to post to my SM account. This will be fun to watch!

Second paying gig is Saturday. Why start off slow?

I don't think you need one, but you might check in these threads just to make sure: http://dgrin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29
