Any updates on negotiations with other printing labs? I'm doing the SM/Zenfolio/custom site fence-sitting thing. Is wholesale volume pricing available or on the table for discussion? Thanks for the great customer service and your availabilty around here. That is the number one reason I'm leaning on SM. Thanks!

Lance-

PS: Any Christmas Pro Account pricing deals on the horizon???

"Its on the list"

Me, I use SmugMug for all my picture hosting.. but have a home spun PayPal cart and do self-fulfillment that way. Wish they had a way built in to do it, cuz my cart is a PITA to maintain... but maybe someday. It hasn't been enough to make me want to leave SM.

Our integration with another Pro lab is going well and we are doing testing as we speak. That is all the update I can give right now.

Can you give more details on your question, "Is wholesale volume pricing available or on the table for discussion?" Does that have to do with coupon discounts?

As for Christmas specials, we don't really have anything, but if you are a new subscriber and entered the competitors name you listed above in the coupon code field when signing up, it might give you a nice little present :)

Thanks Markham! I was referring to something like a tier pricing structure for large printing volume or shipping breaks. Kind of a master dealer type of user structure to add an extra perk for volume printers. Regardless, thanks for the fast response and you are a major reason I would pick SM.

Sincerely,

Lance-

Oh I see. Yeah, I have done these kind of things as a one-off service to folks that buy in big volumes, but I don't have any published sort of price break for this.

I would be happy to give you breaks along the way or set up something official with you if it was going to be a large and regular sort of occurrence.
