Pro Account question - multiple front pages? - 12-15-2008, 01:17 PM

I am looking into upgrading to a Pro account in large part to the HD video capability. What I would like to do is basically set it up as if I had two seperate accounts, one for family and friends and one as an actual 'work' website.

Is it possible to essentially have two websites with a pro account?

Hopefully that makes sense. I'd basically like to keep my current page for friends and family, but then have an independant 'Pro' link I can give people that is, to the visitor, completely disconnected from my personal page.

Yeah, I know exactly what you are trying to do. We have Pros that try and do the same thing all the time.

Unfortunately we don't have a perfect easy way to do it, but we do have a few work arounds for you.

For example: you can make all your Friends/Family galleries "Unlisted" and then share them in a ShareGroup. Or you can put all your F/F galleries in Password protected galleries. Then you can choose to "hide owner" on them.

A lot of pros go down these paths, but a lot also just say forget it and buy another account.

I am thinking that first option may be best since my HD videos are all of the kid and friends and family want to see them. I'll have to play with my current account and see what I can pull off.

Thanks!
