I have a SmugMug slideshow embedded on my website here: http://www.darrenwilson.net/photography/index.html
There are quite a few options, but this is the one I used. All of the instructions can be found here: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?...lideshow+embed
I'm running late for work or I would post up the code I used and a few tweaks I am using. I'll check back later this morning and see if anyone else has chimed in on this thread. darrenwilson added 316 Minutes and 30 Seconds later...Double Post Merged Below
Here's the code I used: Code: <object align="middle" height="400" width="600">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.smugmug.com/ria/ShizamSlides-2007090601.swf?AlbumID=7130671&showThumbs=false&showLogo=false&showButtons=false&transparent=true&crossFadeSpeed=200">
<param name="wmode" value="transparent">
<param name="bgcolor" value="000000">
<param name="allowNetworking" value="all">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always">
<embed src="http://www.smugmug.com/ria/ShizamSlides-2007090601.swf?AlbumID=7130671&showThumbs=false&showLogo=false&showButtons=false&transparent=true&crossFadeSpeed=200" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" allowNetworking="all" height="400" width="600"></embed></object> Just replace the Album ID with the number of your gallery. Quick and easy.

You can find the Gallery ID in the URL by looking for the first string of numbers after the /gallery/.
Example: http://cmac.smugmug.com/gallery/2504...31481579_2tn3L
The Gallery ID is: 2504559

thanks i tried looking this morning through 338 pages of info on dgrin - and couldn't get it to work correctly.
NOW - anyway to have the show on 'pause' when it opens on the page? that would make things perfect...

Got it working on a test page on a non-smugmug hosted site using these directions: http://wiki.smugmug.net/display/SmugMug/Flash+Slideshow
However... what are the odds of adding the ability to display the caption and/or filename with each image?

Thank you Markham.
I understand that it is possible. I now need to know HOW to get the video embedded in a WordPress post.

- Wil | Just navigate to the gallery where your video resides. Inside your gallery, make sure your video that you want to embed is showing on the right-hand side of the page.
Now, go click on the "Share" button at the top of the page.
Then, "Get a link"
Then copy the embed code for the size you want to embed and paste it into Word Press.
Also, on this page, you will find lots of Word Press plugins under the "Blogging" section: http://wiki.smugmug.net/display/SmugMug/Hacks+and+Apps

Great. I'll give that a shot. Thanks.

Ok. That whole Share --> Get Link --> paste in WordPress... does not work. I had tried that before and it still doesn't work.
When you paste the code into the HTML tab of a new post, it sort of sees the object but when you click Preview or Save Draft, WordPress deletes the code that I pasted. There has to be something else to it to prevent WP from deleting the <object> code.

I've looked through DGrin and haven't come across anything yet. I'm not hosting the WordPress blog myself which narrows the solutions to this problem. I know my Animoto videos and Vimeo videos embed just fine. I know there should be an easy solution to this.
I'll email support next.

This just in from SmugMug support: Hi,
Thanks for contacting SmugMug.
I just checked with one of our engineers and there apparently is a current WordPres bug that does not allow the video embed to work. We are aware of the issue and it should be fixed soon. I apologize for the inconvenience!
Please watch our release notes blog for any updates - http://blogs.smugmug.com/release-notes
For the time being, you may link to the video in your gallery from within your WordPress blog.
If there's anything else we can help you with, feel free to let us know at any time.
