Minolta 28-75mm f/2.8 D DISCONTINUED Description:
From groovyone:
The Minolta 28-75mm f/2.8 is really one of the great deals from Minolta from their final days of lens manufacturing. Co-developed with Tamron, along with the 17-35mm f/2.8-4, this lens is a steal for a fixed f/2.8 zoom. Personally I found the Minolta build quality to be more solid than the Tamron and worth the extra money. At 28mm on the wide end it may seem a little long for some APS-C shooters but it really shines on the A900/A850, and weighs in physically and financially far below the
24-70mm f/2.8 Zeiss and even the Sony 28-75mm f/2.8 SAM. These used to sell in the $300 range but prices started to climb once more Sony DSLRs became available. This is one lens I regret selling.
