Frisco Football League photos - Critique please - 08-24-2009, 09:12 AM

My son started playing in the Frisco Football League this year. I decided to start working on sports photography. Here is the link to my photos. Please comment on them for me. I will add some to this post tonight.

All of the photos were shot with a 30D, 70-200 f2.8L and 1.4x, Av f4, iso 100 (some 400)

Focus, exposure and colors look really good. A few of them might be cropped to tight.

That is strange. Safari is what I use to upload and view them at home.

Thanks Lonnie. I have been working on how tight to crop. A few may have been just before I was almost run over.

Oh, the quote is from The Jerk.

I agree with Lonnie. Some have the ball cropped out part of the way. Great color for your team! While I was looking I checked pricing. Is that what you plan to sell photos for?

Thanks Roy,

The closely cropped photos were taken when I realized I was sitting too close to the players and didn't zoom out fast enough. I though the parents might like seeing their son's faces up close so I put them up there. I moved back after those few.

I am not selling photos. That is the site I use to post my own photos for my family. It is also a TPF sponsor. That is the price SmugMug charges to print photos if you want them to print the photos versus you taking a disk to a local shop. I haven't even looked at the pricing. I give the photos to the parents of our team.
