2009 Armed Forces Bowl - 01-01-2010, 10:24 PM

Took my new 200-400 out with the 1.4x TC attached. Our tickets were 21 rows from the field. Not real experienced at shooting football, but here are a few that I was able to capture.

Darn Wes, had I known you were there with your 200-400 I would have begged to use it. Mine gave up the ghost 15 mintues before kickoff and I was left shooting with the 70-200mm running up and down the sidelines. Won't even focus manually, it's completely stuck. Ugh.

Nice shots! Fun game.

Joe

There was plenty of room since it was not a sellout.

Yeah, sorry to about that lens. I'm surprised it didn't start working again for ya by now.
It was good seeing you there, sorry I didn't get much of a chance to visit. It got pretty darn cold towards the end and I wanted to head out myself.

Actually, the people that were sitting around me were loving it. It was hilarious seeing them chimping with me.

Joe - I would have loaned it to you in a heartbeat. Sorry, but I just didn't know you were there.

Thanks Wes, for helping me re-live the college football travesty that was the 2009 Armed Forces Bowl.

Sorry - I was rooting for Air Force. I was happy to see them win. Houston can't throw 6 interceptions and expect to win.

Joe,

I would blame it on Manny... his "mojo" with lenses this past year hasn't been the greatest! ;)
