Spring Sports Shooters Needed

Well the "spring" sports are upon us even though old man winter is still going strong for a lot of the Lone Star State :-). With that being said we are needing some shooters to help cover baseball, softball, tennis, golf, track and field and lacrosse this spring.

I know I need a shooter on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week in Fort Worth. It is a baseball tournament that will be going most of the day on all three days. If you are available and interested please let me know. Email me at coachjwj at gmail dot com.

It would be helpful to many of us, especially newer TPF members, if these requests were accompanied by:
If and how much the gig pays, or if it's a spec. or a free gig (details). It would also be helpful to include who it's for, for some of us might be willing to shoot for free or at a reduced rate for a good cause. :)

Network Agreement
The LSCSN.com Photographers Network is a group of freelance/contract photographers (hereinafter referred to as "Photographer") who have applied and been accepted to supply digital images of Christian high school events for display and sale by the Lone Star Christian Sports Network (hereinafter referred to as LSCSN.com). LSCSN.com provides promotion and a venue for the public to view digital images supplied by the Photographer.

LSCSN.com Mission
The LSCSN.com website is dedicated to promoting positive Christian high school sports news and information. LSCSN.com provides a venue for the display of positive newsworthy images of Christian high school sports events by Photographers. The primary interest in the display of such images is to inform the public, through images, about positive Christian high school programs, coaches, athletes and events. The sale of photos or commercial licensing of images displayed on LSCSN.com site is secondary to the mission of LSCSN.com to inform the public about positive Christain high school sports though its data, editorial content and images.

Copyright
Taking and submitting photographs to LSCSN.com is on a speculative basis. Images displayed on LSCSN.com remain the property of the Photographer and are licensed to LSCSN.com for public display on the Internet. The Photographer also grants LSCSN.com a license to sell digital images displayed on LSCSN.com. Photographs displayed on LSCSN.com site are available for sale via a web-based transaction system. The Photographer retains all commercial rights to their images; however, the Photographer also grants LSCSN.com the authority to license their images for commercial use or to other third parties.

Compensation
Upon the sale and payment of photographs, the Photgrapher will earn a commission of 50% of the profits from the sale, whether the sale is to private consumer or third-part media outlet. The Photographer will also recieve $5 per photo used on any customized poster designed by LSCSN.com with use of one or more of the Photographer's images.

Payment
Payment is made once a month either by check or funds can be transferred to a PayPal account.

Pricing
LSCSN.com will determine pricing for all photos sold through our web-based transaction software. We will set prices at a rate that will generate the most demand as well as provide the highest return. LSCSN.com reserves the right to change prices at any time and for any reason.

I highly recommend Jason and his company. Great guy, easy going and relaxed but still professional. I was promptly paid when photos sold. Now I just need to get out and get back to shooting for him....

Keith yes we would definitely love to have you back in the fold! Thanks for the word!

We wrap up indoor events next weekend, so you would be pretty limited for baseball/softball with just an 85. Might work if you were interested in covering tennis as you can get pretty close to most of the tennis courts.
