as I have been told by sports shooters, "shoot tight and crop tighter" good shots by the way.

Ahhh I see...Heres the senerio, Shot in JPG, Processed with CS3, Curves and levels only, Save as, less than 293.0 K. and posted. Do you see anything that could causes this, or a suggestion of a different way.

I gotten to where I only use "Save to Web" in PS CS3. This method will shrink the image and help keep more of the fine details. Here is a link on a "How To" YouTube - Web Design Tutorial - Save For Web in Photoshop
I see you have been on this forum far a while now and you have not seen this on a thread before?

I am happy to help. If I am posting an image for content I wil just shrink it changing the pixel dimensions. But if I am asking for C&C I want the best possible image I can upload with the size limitations.
