Cowboys Stop the Texans - 09-26-2010, 09:06 PM

More pics on my blog, as well as gear used and all that jazz.

Aggie Photographer

A couple of beautiful men.

Felix was having fun warming up. He was very loose from the moment he stepped on the field. Buelher [sp?] looked like someone kicked his dog.

I'll probably sell more of these pics than any of the game action. The hat is on FORWARD!

If you couldn't see all the empty stands and people on the sidelines behind Dez, that pic would sell a ton. Oh well.

Mario is pretty much intense and quite from the moment he steps on the field.

I think Kubiak was walking to a funeral or something here. Not everyone was sad about Duane Brown getting suspended. Like Rashard Butler, who got his first career start in 5 years.

Cowboys started off by pounding the ball.

Diet Coke Break.

LOL Houston.

Romo didn't get hit here. Or much at all.

Extended TV time out. I always try to get a pic like that, this was in the first quarter. I did the same thing with Peyton Manning in week 1 and Bill Simmons used it for his Week 2 column.

ProTIP: Don't run directly at the Pro Bowl defensive player.

The pic on the right is the beginning of Ware's first sack.

Andre is pretty ripped.

1/80th of a second. Not my best slow shutter of the game, but it was ok.

Romo. Lots of Romo. He sells. Schaub could have better numbers from here on out, and Romo is still more interesting, so he will always sell more. So nice, square, boring throwing pictures.

Pollard then ripped off about 100 MFers to Roy.

This was Miles Austin's catch down to the 1.

Then MBIII put it in.

Dude. That kills your YPC.

Leinart was impressed, though.

Another slow shutter speed pan. That's 1/80th of a second for those of you keeping track at home.

Ware dry humping Schaub again.

And Romo. He threw a lot.

Witten stood up Diles.

Romo pointing again.

I think this was complete to Witten again.

This Newman/Johnson shot is actually after the ball bounced. It was a clean play.

Another couple kick return shots. It is nice to see Slaton getting positive yardage.

I think I did better on Slaton.

His name isn't important enough for me to know. I'll call him Dos Siete.

Oh ****. (I think this is where Kubiak realized he forgot to wear his Aggie Ring.)

Oh ****. Ware again?

You can average 7 yards per carry and get over 100 yards, but don't fumble in the 4th Quarter, or all that kinda means jack. This was the play he was stripped, but I didn't have a good shot of the strip. Thanks ref.

Xavier Adibi is enjoying every minute of Cushing's suspension.

Barber kills the clock.

I was trying to get some shots of Romo with the Texans defensive line closing in. I got half of it.

Gobble, Gobble.

It wasn't nearly as cold as you would think in Reliant.

After Walter's TD. No one really cared anymore.

She isn't exactly Erin Andrews.

Thanks for sharing these. I find them fascinating and like that you take the time to describe what's going on. Always fun seeing what the pro's are shooting.

Thanks for sharing Thomas. Very good shots. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the stadium. Lot of raw nerves yesterday. I saw two women really going at it toward the end of the game. One had blood running down her face. Then two brothers fought in the parking lot when one brother defended his Cowboy supporting girl friend.

It was a guy from SI. They were there in full force working on an article about how the Texans started 3-0 by knocking off bitter rivals Indy and Dallas.

As you can guess, the story was scrapped.

There is a jail inside the stadium. The jail was filled to capacity as HPD had to break up 21 fights inside the stadium during the game.

I particularly like the lower right corner of "Barber kills the clock" with the airborne dirt and grass in front of the Houston player. :) (sixth from bottom)
