Jason & Kay-D,
Thanks for the feedback. There was a lot of great stuff to shoot. I wish I had more time. Thinking back, there's stuff I didn't get to shoot (like some of the old seats) that I'm kicking myself for not getting. Oh well, just another excuse to go back.
@Jason - After further scrutinization, I completely agree with you regarding the retired numbers, too much shadowing. As I'm trying to learn more about perspective and framing, if you have time, I'd love to hear how you may have framed the 18 shot, so I can take that into consideration the next time the opportunity presents itself. I agree with your comments on the subjectivity of the shots. I know all photography is art, but I was probably leaning more to the art side with some of these shots and thus the exaggerated colors and selective coloring.
@Kay-D - I thought that the reds around the park really lent themselves to the selective coloring. I wouldn't have done so much of it otherwise. Unfortunately, my origins as a web designer make me very susceptible to over-tweaking, I guess it's in my nature. That's for your words of encouragement . They are appreciated. |
