2010 Coaches Poster - 11-24-2010, 12:41 AM

A parent for the Senior division of the Klein Eagles wanted a collage style poster as surprise/thank you for the coaches. Coach Mike and Jason coached her son and a few others for all four years.

Out of all my new poster designs none of them were collages. This one took me a while to come up with a design but I'm pretty darned pleased with the results.

C&C welcomed. Thank you.

I like the idea.

For coach Stewart's in the upper left the coaches face and not his back would be more to my liking and in the lower right you have two that are really similar, almost like you were running out of photo options.

If you are limited to photo options maybe the coach had a favorite saying that you could incorporate. Another option would be to incorporate the won/loss record for those four years, especially if it was a winning record.

I like how you used multiple frames for one pic. I did something similar for a VB coach this season but I did all the shots in single frames.

I thought I would add on here instead of starting a new thread. Hope you don't feel like I'm hijacking it.

I did a collage for one of the coaches this year. She really loved it and I also got more print sales out of it.

Bob that is a nice job. I like how you worked in your information, but it doesn't really take away from the quality of the poster. Nicely done!

Love them all.. especially the first two. Would love to know your process for creating this.. I would love to do something like that as a gift to my Mom using family photos.

Thank you Sheri. The top portion of the poster is a simple collage using the Rounded Rectangle Tool in Photoshop. The bottom portion of the poster was also created in Photoshop but the 3D tools are only available in the extended version.
