Just a few shots from the Klein Oak - LaPorte game on Monday.

All with Canon 1D4. The first 5 are with DxO Optics 6 and the others are Lightroom 3.

Gary I really like that second shot. Looks like you have the same problem I have with night games in terms of the diamond lighting. Man, those ISOs are up there.

I'm going to try to shoot some shots at the next game I shoot at 12.8ISO for grins to see what happens. Thanks for posting the pix.

Howard,

I look forward to seeing what you can get. I think you'll need DxO for those to be of use but I could be wrong. I've had good results shooting basketball with my a55 and Sigma 50-150/2.8 HSMII at 6400 and post processing in LightRoom 3.

I've found, however, that shooting at 12,800 with my Canon 7D requires DxO and the noise characteristics are very similar to the a55.

I haven't tried shooting under the lights with my a55 because my Canons offer faster burst speeds and shutter speeds when the light isn't good enough for the auto ISO on the a55.
