I have to share this great catch by Klein Oak's Center Fielder Kaleb Goodell, mostly because he is one of my economics students and I'm really proud of him. He came a long way to make this catch and it was a crucial one as KO beat Klein 9-7 to earn the 1st place seed from 13-5A on Saturday. It wouldn't have happened without this catch. Kaleb is a four year starter for us at Center Field and you can see why.

These pics are very heavily cropped as they were from the 3rd base dugout.

The fans weren't the only ones who were stunned. Actually we were really worried but Kaleb is fine. The only casualties were a mutilated fingernail and a couple of cuts. As he told me after the game "You gotta do what you gotta do." Eloquent, I'd say.

You know I never get shots this good with my 100-400. I think no. 1 is the best of the series technically Ball, face, action, maybe crop a bit tigher?...but the last one shows the relief that he actually caught the ball.

Great series over all.

Thanks. I've always been very happy with my 100-400L.
