Hi all... I would love to have feedback on my pictures. I didn't get as much time behind the camera during my son's games this year as I was the ONLY score keeper and anything during the day light hours... We were home so I was score keeping. So annoying. Here is what I do have.

WOW, keeping score AND shooting pictures? If anyone needs proof that women are better at multitasking than men, I think you're a great example (btw--my multitasking talents extend to walking and chewing gum--only if I do both slowly). Very nice pictures Carrie. What age group are these kids?

Multitasking is definitely a skill I have to possess for life in general.

This age bracket is 13-14 year old. My son who turns 15 in Feb has out grown this division of Little League. His next choices are making it to the JV Baseball team (no more Freshmen sports so to speak due to "budgets" or playing with Youth Federation.

Thank you for your comments on the pictures!

Nice to see some new faces in the sports section. As far as your photos goes it somewhat hard to comment without knowledge of the purpose of the photos.

If you are looking for scrapbook photos No. 2 and No. 3 need to be cropped tighter to isolate the action. No. 2 would be a lot more appealing (at least to me) if the scoreboard was lit up. As it is you could use it for a newspaper that uses texts on top of photos.

As you might see here the top three needs of a sports photo are face/ball/action and again purpose may determine what order those fall in on any given shoot :-).

Always fun trying to get good shots when you have other duties. I know all about that :-).

Thanks Jason for the comments! Did you check out my photobucket link? I have a few bat on ball action and pitching action too! Those are actually just a handful of the "good" ones. So to speak! :D

Ok so I tightened up the slide into home...Check this out.

Is this more along the lines you were telling me to try?

As for the scoreboard I would agree with you. However, people have stolen or broken the control box for the scoreboard so it sits as a backdrop...
