Critique: CC:

Got an assignment this evening to shoot at our local high school so I thought I'd take my gear to snap some pix. Opening day is always fun and the kids are so ready to hit someone.
I realize I have so much to learn in shooting at night in low light conditions. I enjoy stringing, and I want to do a good job.

They lined up in the I, but Shiner and Industrial both run the veer as their primary offensive scheme.

How do these look? - 08-29-2011, 06:10 PM

Howard,

I tried a few adjustments. Do you like them?

This is just optimizing exposure and contrast in Lightroom using your posted jpegs. Things could be much better if we had raw files to work with.

Thank you Gary for the adjustments. On this night, I had to edit in iPhoto because I had to slam them out because of meeting a deadline. Excuses aside, the newspaper used the first shot, and I was happy about that. See advosports.com, and I'm pretty sure you'll see it there.
Many thanks again Gary...by the way, if I post the RAW file, will you be able to see the metadata? Sorry for the ignorance there.
