Why would the EXIF data on the photo say "2011-08-26 19:04:00 +0000" for the date and time, when on the actual image file it correctly states, "8/26/2011, 9:39:52 PM?" The latter was copied from Bridge. I also don't recall putting any settings to military time.

I didn't try to edit this EXIF data and it went from Bridge to CS5.

As I look at other files, and more data, that is the IPTC Core date and time. That would seem to be about when I formatted the cards and started my shoot, but it isn't when the images were made. I don't recall the EXIF data ever taking the IPTC data instead of File data. (In Firefox I can R-click and opt to see EXIF data.) This is a new PC with a fresh install of CS5 and Bridge. Am I missing a setting???

Andy that is a good question. I do not have the answer but over the years I have been using two different EXIF readers. They show different data so I use both. Both report what you are seeing as to the different times. If you figure it out let us know!!! And SRI but I do not remember for sure
what the name of readers are. I am thinking The first one is Firefox and the second one is Opanda.

Andy,

I have to ask. After showing us awesome ISO 12,800 pics out of your 7D why are you shooting at ISO 3200 with a 5D?

I like the pic! The ball carrier is largely frozen. The motion blur around him make for an interesting shot. Well done!

The 5D doesn't do what the 7D can. I have to max both out at night, especially in the Leo Buckley end zone, and my 5D is my second body with a 70-200 2.8 on it. ISO, "H" is 3200 on the 5D.

I'm still thinking about a 1D Mk III or another 7D for a second body, but football is about the only time I'd use it. Hard to cost justify. And my 7D has a 300mm 2.8 on it as my primary. I'd love to see how this would go, but I also don't want to spend $100 and up to rent a body for a night, only to fall in love and then be out that on a new purchase. I have cash, but my son also wants a car and needs some help. I only get to spend it once.

I really want more than 1/250 on the speed. The motion blur is not intentional, but I do like that shot.
