There might be a thread somewhere on this, however I was unable to find one with all the details. Essentially, would someone post the parts needed to mount a 580EX flash on a tripod? Any photos of a setup would be awesome as well. I tried using the flash on top of the body last week and it was borderline disastrous. Thanks in advance. |

Would suggest moving this one over into the lighting discussion. If you have the 580EX and all its original equipment (mounting plate) it will attach to the tripod, right out of the box. Triggering it beyond that is a totally difference discussion that you will find the better answers for over in the lighting discussion section. Look/Search for the discussions on wireless triggers. --------------------------- Greg Canon bodies with Canon L and Tamron glass. |
