The climbing shots are very nice, but I love the jumping shots! Nice colors on the sky and water.

hangin from a rope 20 ft above water with your equipment isnt really fun...... editing the pics and seeing what you got is tho!

I like the shots from the other link a lot better.

My old boss had a saying "If you can't tie good knots, tie a lot of them....."

Me, I tied good knots!

Hanging 100' above the ground in a tree with a running chainsaw cutting the 50' above you away and waiting for it to fall so you can ride the sway isn't fun either....wait a minute...yes it was!

I would cheat and use my ascenders though. Plus you guys would laugh at my tree working harness. Not exactly a lightweight rig by any stretch....

Our degree of difficulty involved how many power lines there were and what was below the tree. In this case lots of lines and a house....

HAHAHAHAHA.... I say the same thing to my students that I teach... kidding around of course. More of a condensed version tho.....

"If you can't tie a knot, tie alot"

My photo harness is by no means lightweight, but damn is it comfortable..... It's like the caddie of harnesses.

And tree triming 100' trees sounds hella fun! I'd be into it.

It sure had it's moments.... I kept my gear but not much call for harnesses and rigging around me. Heck, it would kick my butt to have to climb like that again! But the thought of trying something new might have me brushing up on my knots and digging out the gear!

We used to go here (about 30 min from where I lived) and watch you nuts climb here. Gunks

Not to hijack, but one more from that memorable tree. Two full days, lot's of work, but a huge paycheck! You know you are in trouble when you quote and astronomical price and the home owner jumps on it..... "Nobody else would even bid on this tree! Thank you, thank you, thank you...." Yeah...

Very familiar with the gunks, haven't made my way that way..... YET. My next road trip, I will probably head out east to see what it has to offer. The last roadtrip was 3 months through out NM, NV, CA and AZ..... good times. Keeping my fingers crossed and trying to earn enough $$$ to head out in December.
