Astros starter Jason Hirsh tries to regroup after giving up a 2 run home run to Padres outfielder Mike Cameron. In his major league debut, Hirsh surrendered three home runs in the fourth inning, and took the loss as the Astros fell to the Padres 6 to 3 Saturday evening at Minute Maid Park.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jason when he was on the Corpus Christi Hooks last year. Very personable. He even signed 4 baseballs for my son and I.

Yeah, during that inning, my wife wanted to take some pictures, so I gave her the camera. With two outs and two strikes and the bases loaded, I told her to watch the pitcher. I told her if he got out of the jam, he'd probably show some emotion. Sure enough, Hirsh got the last out and gave a fist pump. But alas, my wife didn't quite capture the jube. Goes to show you- even if you anticipate correctly, there's alot more to capturing the moment.
