Rock Climbing - 01-25-2007, 05:09 PM

I mostly lurk around here, but I thought I would post some photos since I am bored at work this afternoon. Plus I'm getting antsy about my climbing trip to e-rock this weekend. I hope you guys enjoy....

I hope more posted on my PhotoShelter account as well.

Yes, there is plenty to climb, especially on the backside of the Enchanted Rock batholith.

I should have clarified, the current photos are at Paradise on the Brazos close to Possum Kingdom Lake. The trip this past weekend was to Enchanted Rock and yes, there is TONS of climbing out there. Unfortunately I didn't get many pics on this trip. I hoped to but had technical issues with the camera and I was more focused on climbing this time. E-Rock is gorgeous. IT feels like New Mexico or Arizona.

There are some technical climbs on E rock on I believe the north side and then up on the west side also out of the split.

Also E rock is small enough that a person who wants to shoot the climbers can get some decent shots from the ground or other spots with a smaller zoom and not have to technical climb themselves.

Also there isn't much water at E rock.

Love the shots. I'm afraid of hieghts as well but strangely, I've always wanted to climb at Enchanted Rock.
