Badkdrop size for basketball T&I? - 02-01-2007, 04:34 PM

Does anyone know what a typical size backdrop would be for around 10 kids between 8 and 12 years old?

I'm starting to shoot some youth basketball T&I and will probably need a backdrop large enough for the average youth basketball team.

Thanks for any suggestions.

If you pose them right you cant easily get away with a 10 or 12 footer for up to 15 kids (3 rows of 5). Once you start adding coaches the 10' will shrink really fast. If you have the opportunity I would pose them on the court for a more natural photo.

For the indiv shots I usually shoot on a neutral grey so it can be easily selected out and changed to different colors or designs.

Orig.

Is there any advantage to using a green screen vs a grey backdrop or any other solid backdrop for that matter?

A lot times the pictures are being taken while other games are being played, so I won't always have access to the court.

Great shots. Thanks for the advice.
