Ahhh.. the elusive bat on ball photo... doesnt happen to often.. wish he was batting from the other side.. but I think you get the picture....

Too bad we don't get to see any of those "bat on ball" photos from our Astros. Those bats never come close to a ball.

I think it is more elusive to get a picture of Griffey actually playing. Great shot.

Bob,

Just wondering, mostly because I don't know cr_p, but is this a different lens than you normally lose? I see a lot of grain or noise in the background. Is that due to the lighting? I'm just curious. I'm sure there is a simple explanation like upping the ISO or something.

Could be many factors... this is cropped pretty heavy.. its ISO800, so there is some noise..... shot with the 70-200
