High Bar

This is a picture of my 9yr old on high bar during a competition.....

Anyone know how to reduce the noise on the digital Rebel when shooting 8oo ISO..or is this the best that DR can do?

Best it can do. Get NoiseWare or NoiseNinja to help.

I can vouch for noise ninja also. I use it when I shoot ISO 3200 or 1600. I actually find the ISO800 reasonably acceptable on the rebel depending on the lighting.

He is at Cypress, with Tom Meadows, this will be his second year with Tom. We really love him alot. He was at Champions with Clay and Mizo, until CLay left and we went to CYpress and love it........he is a 6-7 level, they havent descided where he will compete this year.

mmm not really knowing the boys' coaches, i couldn't say, but that particular picture was from an elite qualifier that was held at champions...i think in 03? so maybe so! i'll ask diane to take a look, she probably knows...

looked at your gym photos, great stuff, like the stuff at VIsa....we went to the Olympic trials in California that was awesome...I had to sneak in my camera...but my shoots werent nearly as good as yours.....

that must have been awesome - to see the the trials...jon horton from cypress was there! he didn't finish well, i heard he had a blister the size of his entire palm...

i have to learn to crop my photos more...the visa cup pictures are much more interesting that way...i've been doing that on more of the recent stuff...i also need to find out...if i upload the pic with the same name...does it affect the click counter on those galleries...cause i would really like to redo them...

as a side note...my daughter has like 5 college coaches coming to see her in the next 3 weeks...and what did she do yesterday? pulled her arch in her foot on a beam dismount...she's icing in a bucket today...

Yeah Jon is at OU right now, my son is going to Ou next week for camp. Jonathan is a great guy he is close to my son, thats why we went to the Olympic Trials to support Jonathan.

We are early in our gym career, but he loves it. PS I love it also, I did gym for awhile but gave up before my time.....
