Question for Nikon Folks with SC-17 - 08-29-2008, 03:29 PM

I have a question for those who shoot high school football with a speedlight mounted on a monopod and connected with a sync cord:

Can you control the manual flash output from your commander menu if you need to change the flash power, or do you have to manipulate the rear of the flash and adjust the flash power that way?

I tried using my commander menu to control the flash output with the flash mounted on the hotshoe, but I can't figure it out. :)

I don't think you can 'cause "technically" you're not shooting wireless but, I may be wrong.
